Кира Касс — современная американская писательница, работающая в жанрах фантастики, фэнтези и детской литературы. Кира родилась 19 мая 1981 года в Техасе в семье выходца из Пуэрто-Рико. Детство и юность она провела в курортной зоне Мёртл-бич, где училась в средней школе города Сокасти. Кира активно участвовала в школьных постановках и мечтала стать профессиональной актрисой. После школы она поступила в Прибрежный Каролинский университет, чтобы развивать свои театральные навыки. Однако со временем её интересы изменились, и она перешла в Рэдфордский университет, где получила степень бакалавра по истории. Сейчас Кира живёт в Кристиансбурге, штат Вирджиния, и воспитывает двоих детей — сына и дочь. Она счастлива в браке. **Творчество Киры Касс** Кира начала писать в 2009 году.
