Taking into account the regional nature of the Information Field, in one material world only one Information Field operates, i.e. only one Information Field manages the development of DIS and DIIS while they interact with objects of living nature that inhabit this material world.
The function of the Information Field is to manage purposefully the development of DIS and DIIS throughout their entire developmental path - from the moment of their emergence until DIIS reach the highest level of development. When DIIS reach the highest level of development, they become part of the Supreme Mind and are no longer under the management by the Information Field.
Figuratively speaking, the Information Fields are suppliers of a kind of components necessary for the development of the Supreme Mind.
Not all DIS become DIIS. Not all DIIS reach the highest level of development and become part of the Supreme Mind. If DIS and DIIS do not meet the criteria for their correct development established by the Information Field, then the Information Field stops managing the development of DIS and DIIS and providing them with information and energy support.
Taking into account the information disclosed above in the chapter "Interaction of Information and Energy":
• depriving DIS and DIIS of information support from the Information Field leads to the cessation of the development of DIS and DIIS,
• depriving DIS and DIIS of energy support from the Information Field leads to their gradual destruction due to the external energy impact of the Universe, exceeding the power of the energy barrier of DIS and DIIS.
For more information on how the Information Field manages DIIS, see the chapter “The Information Field Manages the Earthly Stage of Soul Development” below.
Thus, DIS and DIIS are objects of natural selection, which allows the Information Field to optimize the use of the energy-informational means for the purposeful management of the development of DIS and DIIS.
At the initial stage of its existence, DIS have the ability to manage information only by means of algorithms (a set of precisely defined rules describing the procedure for solving a certain problem or achieving a certain goal) set by the Information Field.
As DIS develop, they gradually acquire the ability to search, receive, understand, process (i.e., save, evaluate, analyze, systematize) information and to manage the information that has been received and processed. This ability is called DIS thinking and depends on the level of development of DIS.
The development of DIS thinking is accompanied by the development of their ability to transform information that has been received, understood and processed, to create derivative information and to manage derivative information. This ability is called DIS intellect and depends on the level of development of DIS thinking.
The development of DIS thinking and intellect gradually leads DIS to perceive themselves as rational beings, distinct from the external world, and the emergence in DIS of a personal attitude towards the external world. This ability is called DIS consciousness and depends on the level of development of DIS thinking and intellect.
The emergence of consciousness in DIS is a consequence of the development of DIS thinking and intellect.
The development of DIS thinking, intellect and consciousness is accompanied by the gradual emergence and development in DIS of sense organs.
The emergence of thinking, intellect and consciousness in a DIS means that DIS has become a developing intelligent information system (DIIS).
The emergence and development of a DIIS’ consciousness is accompanied by the emergence and development in DIIS of:
• sensory perception of information about the external world (a cognitive process that allows to reflect in the DIIS’ consciousness certain objects and phenomena of the external world using various sense organs and its subjective evaluative attitude to the external world),
• psyche (a set of knowledge about the external world obtained by DIIS due to its thinking, intellect, consciousness and sensory perception of information about the external world),
• character (features of a DIIS’ attitude to itself and its behavior in relation to the external world, limited by the level of development of the DIIS' psyche),
• mentality (views, assessments, values, norms of behavior and morality that characterize DIIS),
• spiritual development (the process of cognizing and realizing by DIIS the nature of the universe and the meaning of its life).
Thus, the development of DIIS occurs through the development of its thinking, intellect and consciousness in their interrelation.
The higher the level of development of a DIIS’ thinking, the higher the level of development of its intellect. The higher the level of development of a DIIS’ thinking and intellect, the higher the level of development of its consciousness. Consciousness does not exist without thinking and intellect.
