**Робин Хобб: путь к успеху американской писательницы фэнтези** Робин Хобб — это псевдоним Маргарет Астрид Линдхольм Огден, талантливой американской писательницы, чьи произведения в жанре фэнтези завоевали сердца многих читателей. **Начало жизненного пути** Маргарет родилась 5 марта 1952 года в Сан-Рафаэле, Калифорния. В возрасте девяти лет она вместе с семьёй переехала в Фэрбанкс, расположенный в центре Аляски. Там они купили старый деревянный дом, который требовал ремонта. Семья самостоятельно занималась его восстановлением. В этот период в их доме появился питомец — помесь собаки и волка по имени Бруно, который стал верным другом Маргарет и её спутником в исследованиях окрестностей. После школы Маргарет отправилась в Денвер, чтобы поступить в местный университет, но через год вернулась домой. Вскоре она вышла замуж за местного рыбака, и молодожёны переехали на остров Кадьяк, чтобы муж мог работать.
