Бренда Джойс

Бренда Джойс — известная писательница, создающая исторические любовные романы. Она родилась в 1963 году в Бруклине, США, а детство и юность провела на Манхэттене в Нью-Йорке. Бренда гордится своим русским происхождением: её бабушка и дедушка в молодости иммигрировали из России. По семейной легенде, родители писательницы познакомились на Кони-Айленде: мать продавала арбузы, а отец — билеты на скачки. Бренда вспоминает своё детство как довольно одинокое: родители были заняты, и заботой о ней занимались няньки и домработницы. Придумывать увлекательные истории Бренда начала с раннего возраста. В 12 лет она написала свой первый рассказ «Не хорони моё сердце», который получился серьёзным и совсем не детским. Героиня рассказа разрывалась между двумя братьями-близнецами, одному из которых суждено было умереть. Сейчас Бренда Джойс — автор нескольких десятков романов, среди которых особенно популярны «Маскарад», «Смертельные иллюзии» и «Тёмное обольщение». В 18 лет Бренда была лучшей ученице…Подробнее
