     Конечно, “Автобиография” не явилась откровением: в каждом ее романе читатель ощущал богатый жизненный опыт и выстраданную житейскую мудрость. Именно это, в сочетании с недюжинной фантазией, позволяло ей создавать книги, столь любимые самой широкой аудиторией. Книги, в которых непостижимым образом соединялось сугубо английское и общечеловеческое, изощренность и простота, дух времени и ощущение вневременного.      Агата Кристи жила в своих книгах, она писала свою жизнь. В чертах ее персонажей вы найдете викторианскую чопорность и прямоту ее бабушек (одна из которых умела определять ложь “по запаху”), склонность к мистицизму и властность матери, обворожительный шарм отца, чарующий романтизм истории их любви - и при этом по-английски трезвое восприятие жизненных неурядиц.      Атмосфера ее книг пропитана светлым покоем детства и отголосками кошмарных снов.
