Камилла Лэкберг — одна из ведущих представительниц скандинавского детектива, заслужившая звание «шведской Агаты Кристи». Каждый её роман становится мировым бестселлером, а сама она входит в десятку самых популярных европейских писателей. Книги Лэкберг переведены на 30 языков, и их общий тираж превысил 22 миллиона экземпляров в более чем 60 странах. Камилла родилась 30 августа 1974 года в рыбацком посёлке Фьельбака, Швеция. Уже в пять лет она написала свою первую книгу «Томтен». Несмотря на талант, Камилла выбрала более стабильную карьеру и поступила в Школу бизнеса, экономики и права в Гётеборге. После учёбы она работала менеджером в Стокгольме. ### Начало писательской карьеры Однако работа в менеджменте не принесла Лэкберг удовлетворения. Она закончила курсы «Написание криминальной фантастики» и в 2003 году выпустила дебютный роман «Ледяная принцесса».
