Filka the Dog
This story with Filka was a long time ago. In the early eighties, there was a funny black dog named Filka. But he didn’t seem funny and affectionate to everyone, but only to the four-year-old toddler Kolya. Filka couldn’t stand being bullied, and he tried to bite the offender. But he accepted Kolya as his best friend. Kolenka himself was crazy about this neighbor’s dog, Filka. He sees him on the street, comes up and climbs on his back. Of course, Filka the dog seemed like a real horse to the toddler. He climbs up, sits astride like a horse, and rides contentedly. That was Kolya’s luck. Filka rolled his little friend on his back and did not take offense at the baby for this. Filka understood that this was not an abuser, but a small and stupid human cub. Kolya and Filka became attached to each other. And they were seen together every day. Filka is walking, and Kolenka is sitting majestically on his back. You look at it and it was impossible not to smile. But it wasn’t like that right away. At first, Kolenka’s mother and Filka’s mistress were afraid that the dog would harm the child. But over time, having become convinced of their strong friendship, they stopped worrying about it.
