Śrī Dhūmāvatī-pariśiṣṭa

The Śrī Dhūmāvatī-pariśiṣṭa is a supplement to the Śrī Dhūmāvatī-tantra: a paddhati — the connected order of worship in the Dhūm family (Kula Dhūm). What the tantra gives as teaching is here drawn together into a working sequence, step by step, from the first address to the completion.
Seventeen sections lead through the whole frame of practice: the preparing of the place and of oneself, the establishing of the presence, daily and extended worship, the offerings, the repetition and the sealing — so that the one who performs it knows not only the meaning but the order: what is done, when, and in what sequence.
Uttered by Śrī Dhūmāvatī, written down by Maharṣi Viṣṇu. The mantras are given in layers — Devanāgarī, its IAST transliteration, and the English rendering — so that they may be understood and correctly pronounced.
