Arseny Who Lived Under the Bed

I cant fall asleep

Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Leo. He was terribly afraid of going to bed. Leo would climb onto his bed, pull the blanket tightly over himself — carefully, so that not a single toe stuck out — and hide under it, leaving only his nose peeking out. He'd close his eyes… but just couldnt fall asleep. He told himself fairy tales, asked his mom to sit beside him, called his grandma, even invited the cat — and still, sleep wouldnt come. It was a real tragedy and torment.

I cant fall asleep too

The boy didnt know that under his bed lived Arseny. Who was he? Hard to say. Was he a house spirit, a ghost, or some kind of under-bed monster? But one thing was certain — Arseny lived there, and he was absolutely terrified to come out.He dreaded the thought of someone sleeping on the bed, creaking, tossing and turning… And every time Leo lay down, Arseny froze in terror and thought: — Oh my, now he'll sleep on my bed, something will creak — and what if this boy grabs me and drags me away somewhere? Oh my, how scary!..
