A Morning in My Life
My name is Anna, and I want to tell you about my morning. I usually wake up at 7:00 a.m., but yesterday was a little different.
Yesterday, my alarm clock rang at 7:00, but I did not hear it. I was very tired because I went to bed late. My mother came into my room and said,
«Anna, you must wake up now! You will be late for school!»
I opened my eyes and looked at the clock. It was 7:30.
«Oh no!» I said. «I should get up quickly!»
I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. I washed my face and brushed my teeth very fast. I looked in the mirror and laughed. My hair was a mess.
«I can fix it later,» I said.
Then I went to the kitchen. My mother was making breakfast.
«Good morning,» she said. «You look very sleepy.»
«I am sleepy,» I said. «I should go to bed earlier.»
There was some bread, eggs, and tea on the table. I wanted to eat, but I did not have much time.
«You must eat something,» my mother said.
«Okay,» I answered, and I ate a small breakfast.
After that, I went back to my room and got dressed. I put on my school uniform and packed my bag. I checked my books and notebooks.
«I think I have everything,» I said.
At 7:50, I was ready to go.
«Bye, Mom!» I said.
«Have a good day,» she answered.
I ran to the bus stop. I saw my friend Kate there.
«Hi, Anna!» she said. «You look tired.»
«Yes,» I said. «I woke up late today.»
«You should sleep more,» she said.
«I know,» I answered.
The bus came, and we got on. We talked and laughed on the way to school. I felt better.
At school, the first lesson was English. I like English, but I was still a little tired. The teacher asked,
«Anna, can you read the text?»
«Yes, I can,» I said, and I read it slowly.
After some time, I felt more awake. I answered questions and worked with my classmates.
When I came home later, I thought about my morning. It was busy and a little stressful, but everything was okay.
Today, I will go to bed earlier. I want to wake up on time tomorrow!

Getting Ready for School
My name is Daniel, and I want to tell you about my morning before school. I usually wake up at 6:45 a.m. My alarm clock rings, and I open my eyes slowly. Sometimes I feel tired, but I know I must get up.
«Daniel, are you awake?» my mother asks from the kitchen.
«Yes, Mom! I am getting up!» I answer.
First, I make my bed. Then I go to the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth. I look in the mirror and smile.
«You look okay today,» I say to myself.
After that, I go to my room and get dressed. I put on my jeans and a T-shirt. In winter, I also wear a warm sweater. I check the weather because I should wear the right clothes.
Then I go to the kitchen. My father is drinking coffee, and my little sister is eating cereal.
«Good morning,» I say.
«Good morning,» they answer.
There is bread, cheese, eggs, and tea on the table. I usually eat eggs and drink tea.
«You must eat well,» my father says.
«I know,» I answer.
While I eat, I talk to my family. My sister says,
«I have a test today.»
«Good luck!» I say.
«Thank you!» she smiles.
After breakfast, I go back to my room. I pack my school bag. I check my books, notebooks, and pens.
«Math book, English book… yes, everything is here,» I say.
Suddenly, I cannot find my homework.
«Oh no! Where is it?» I say.
I look on my desk, under my bed, and in my bag. I feel nervous.
«You should be more organized,» I tell myself.
Then my mother comes into the room.
«What’s wrong?» she asks.
«I can’t find my homework,» I say.
«Look on the table in the living room,» she says.
I run to the living room and see my notebook on the table.
«Here it is!» I say. «Thank you, Mom!»
«You’re welcome,» she answers.
At 7:30, I am ready to leave. I put on my jacket and take my bag.
«Bye!» I say.
«Have a nice day!» my parents say.
Outside, the air is fresh. I walk to school with my friend Alex.
«Hi, Daniel!» he says.
«Hi!» I answer.
«Are you ready for the math lesson?» he asks.
«I think so,» I say. «I did my homework… after I found it!»
We laugh and walk together. I feel happy. I like my mornings, even when they are a little busy.

My Busy Monday
My name is Lisa, and I want to tell you about my busy Monday. I don’t always like Mondays, but this one was very interesting.
On Monday, I woke up at 6:30 a.m. I felt tired because it was the first day after the weekend.
«I should get up,» I said, but I wanted to sleep more.
My alarm rang again, and I finally got out of bed. I made my bed, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. Then I got dressed quickly because I didn’t have much time.
In the kitchen, my mother was making breakfast.
«Good morning, Lisa,» she said.
«Good morning,» I answered. «I am very tired today.»
«You must eat a good breakfast,» she said.
I ate some toast and eggs and drank a cup of tea. After that, I packed my bag. I checked my books and my homework.
«I think I am ready,» I said.
At 7:20, I left the house and walked to the bus stop. My friend Emma was there.
«Hi, Lisa!» she said.

A Day Without My Phone
My name is Mark, and I want to tell you about a very unusual day. Yesterday, I spent the whole day without my phone.

I woke up at 7:00 a.m. and looked at my table.
«Where is my phone?» I asked.
I looked under my pillow, in my bag, and on the floor. It was not there.
«Oh no! I can’t find it!» I said.
My sister came into the room.
«What’s wrong?» she asked.
«I lost my phone,» I said.
«You should look in the living room,» she said.
I went to the living room, but my phone was not there. I felt nervous.
«I must find it,» I thought.
Then my mother said,
«Don’t worry. You can live one day without your phone.»
I didn’t like this idea, but I had no time. I got dressed, ate breakfast, and went to school.
At school, I felt strange. I usually use my phone during breaks, but now I had nothing to do. My friend Tom came to me.

«I don’t have my phone today,» I said.
«Oh, that’s not a big problem,» he said. «You can talk to us!»
